The Czech legal framework has allowed dual or even multiple citizenships for its citizens since 2014. Based on the amendment to the Czech Nationality Act from 2019, it is also possible to obtain Czech citizenship through an ancestor who (with some exceptions) lost it during the existence of Czechoslovakia.
