AI and Intellectual Property

Our colleague, Anastasija Levina, attended an interesting event at the beginning of October organized by Pražský inovační institut, titled AI and Intellectual Property: Prompts, Outputs, and Copyrights.

The event featured speakers from both the fields of artificial intelligence and law. Besides the topic of copyright, the discussion also focused on personal data protection and GDPR issues related to the development of artificial intelligence.

The most stimulating and interesting part was the section dedicated to questions, where topics such as whether a creation made by artificial intelligence can be considered an authored work, how to ensure that artificial intelligence is not trained on our data, and legal regulations concerning deepfake technologies were discussed.
